My Passion

I genuinely value strong connections with my students, and I adore sharing resources! I have worked with thousands of students from many demographics over the years and my emphasis is on building a strong relationship that allows you to flourish in academia.

After 20+ years of teaching and 10+ years of publishing and presenting experience, I have discovered my true passion for mentoring and consulting to enhance graduate students’ academic success. My goal is to provide services as an advocate, cheerleader, personal trainer, and guide through the challenges of Ph.D. land. I know how tough it is!

My Ph.D. in Teaching, Curriculum and Change was the start of my journey, but since then I have presented, published, and been privileged to connect with thousands of amazing students from around the globe.

How can I help you achieve your academic dreams; through developing your research ideas? Connecting you with resources and opportunities? Enhancing your academic writing? Deciphering syllabi and succeeding in a challenging class? Mentoring and advising in place of your absent professor? You can view my Publications and Research to get an idea of my expertise.

I am here for you and honored to take part in your journey!
